Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) Collaboration

The MoU signed between Lloyd Business School and Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) aspires to develop apprenticeship-based Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Data Science for Logistics. Lloyd Business School is one of the premiers few Institutes which are offering this program in collaboration with Logistics Sector Skill Council have. This programme co-evolves with a blend of conceptual learning and Industry liaison, with Industry paid Internship. The curriculum has been specifically designed in unison with LSC for developing industry oriented skills for enhancing employability.

Logistics Sector Skill Council, (LSC) a society registered under the Societies Registration act, 1860 is a not for profit organization set up by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) though National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and promoted by Confederation of Indian Industries Institute of Logistics (CII-IL) a Centre of Excellence in Logistics with the aim to develop skill trained as well as up-skill the workforce in India.

The Memorandum of Understanding has broadly been drafted to encompass:-

1.All student-apprentice get monthly stipend during the apprenticeship period as per the provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961.
2. Subject to performance of students in Apprenticeship, certificates are awarded to students who successfully complete the Apprenticeship.
3. Guest lectures are arranged by industry experts covering the industry applications.
4.Industry visits for the students are arranged in each of the teaching Semesters.
5.Lectures will be delivered by subject matter expert from Lloyd Business School.
