The corporate resource center or the Placement Cell plays a vital role in bringing the industry and academia close to each other by providing Career Counseling, need based education and organization support. It has the task to organize campus interviews for student placement and training and also organizes corporate guest lectures and industry interaction.

CRC acts as an interface between the students, faculty and the corporate world to initiate continuous interaction with the industry , sharing industry experiences, and understanding the needs of the corporate world. In addition to execution of Placement drives, CRC also arranges Internships, Summer Training ,Orientation programmes, Seminars by Industry Experts , Industrial visits of students , mid term projects and final placements. CRC undertakes various academic and co-curricular activities to enhance the capability of students as per Industry requirements. CRC remains in constant touch for the benefits of current students .

Summer Internship Programme:

  • Summer Internship constitutes an integral part of the PGDM curriculum and is valued for its relevance in management education.
  • Summer Internship is positioned between the first and second year of the PGDM program.
  • The students are placed in different organizations for a period of about 8-10 weeks on a specific assignment with their preferred areas of specialization.
  • It provides the students an opportunity to test the theoretical concepts learnt in the classroom, also helps students to explore linkages amongst different functions and develop a realistic maganerial perspective about organizations in their reality.
  • As a part of the assignment, students are required to submit a report. The presentation made by the students to the organization and the faculty forms the basis for the evaluation of the project work.
  • Summer training process commences from the month of April every year.
  • Students of PGDM SCM and PGDM HRM are placed for Summer Internship by the Lloyd at Safexpress and Client firms and Manpower Consultant across PAN INDIA .
  • So far Lloyd Business School has provided all the students of Batches 2016-18 AND 2015-17 the Summer Internship .
  • On the Job Training (WLP) at Lloyd Business School:
  • We at Lloyd Business School place a lot of importance in the On-the-job training, also known as WLP, which is teaching the skills, knowledge, and competencies that are needed for employees to perform a specific job within the workplace and work environment. Students learn in an environment in which they will need to practice the knowledge and skills taught in the on-the-job training.We have successfully provided 100% WLP to students of PGDM SCM and PGDM HRM Batch 2015-17 and 2016-18 Batch with our MoU partners Safexpress and Manpower Group. 

 

Final Placement Process:

  • Placement process commence from the month of October every year.The real proof of the quality and effectiveness of any Business School lies in the acceptance of its graduates in the industry.Thus the placement of the graduating batch marks the culmination of the rigorous two – year PGDM program at Lloyd Business School.
  • The budding managers are absorbed by the MNC's , Indian Giants and Public Sector firms.
  • As Lloyd Business School has a MoU with Safexpress and Manpower OUR STUDENTS ARE GIVEN assured placement assistance so that they are placed in most competitive roles and companies.

 

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT CELL:

Personality Development program is a regular program provided to each students of Lloyd Business School right form their inception of their course. We believe that personality can be shaped and confidence can be built into everyone. It needs expertise and a fine eye to work over the strengths and sensitivity to work over the weaknesses.
