Executive Education Program For Young Professionals
A session on “Creativity, Reinvention & Self Development for Young Leaders and Professionals" was held on 15th December, 2018. The speaker who chaired the session was Mr. Naresh Sharma, Director- Business Analysis, Metlife. The session aimed at building a motivational perspective of the audience towards leading a creative and innovative life by believing in oneself regarding creating an individual path for oneself.
Our students of PGDM Supply Chain (Batch 2017-19) have been successfully placed as Fleet Managers at Swiggy. We wish them all the luck and success for their career ahead."
Training and Placement has taken a great initiative to bring the concept of winter internship for management students. Nine students of MBA I Semester have been selected for winter internship in Spectrum Talent Management, which is a comprehensive HR services company offering solutions spanning the entire latent lifecycle including recruitment, Onboarding, payroll and Flexible Staffing.

To strengthen our Industry Connect and pave way for Industry-Academic Integration, a visit to the Corporate office Amar Ujala, Leading Hindi Newspaper was undertaken for our students of PGDM SCM & HR (BATCH 2018-20). Amar Ujala is a Hindi-language daily newspaper published in India. It has 20 editions in seven states and one union territory covering 180 districts. It has a circulation of around three million copies The students were given insights about media planning, shift work system of employees, HR policy,turnover and attrition rate of employees. Various general and technical questions were asked by students like the turnover of the factory, plan for future expansion, number of workers, working of different departments, recycling of waste material, types of paper etc. The students were also briefed about the whole process of production along with the initiatives done by the organization for fulfilling their Corporate Social Responsibility.
A Marketing Club Initiative

The TOPLINERS (Lloyd Marketing Club) organized a 1-day Campus Bazaar where teams from BBA, MBA & PGDM programme competed with each other for generating highest revenue through selling the various merchandise of their own choice. The event witnessed a huge participation from various departments and participants selling items like handmade cookies, artifacts, accessories, street food, stationery items, clothing, jewelry, games and much more. The aim of this event was to reinforce marketing skills & creativity among the students so that they remain abreast with the practical applications of the theoretical concepts. The winner teams from all through programmes were felicitated with winning prize & certificates by the President & Group Director of Lloyd Group of Institutions.
A poster making competition was conducted between various teams of students on November 21, 2017 in the college Lawn. Nineteen teams of 5 members each participated. The participants were evaluated on the basis of artistic sense, presentation, creativity & content.
A management quiz was conducted among the various teams of MBA on 14th November, 2017 in the seminar hall. Four teams of 6 members each participated. The participants were evaluated on the basis of various rounds like Q&A session and an AD MAD round.
To acclimatize students with varied cultures and traditions of India, the students visited the country-famous, SurajKund Mela as a Cross Cultural Training and Sensitivity visit.
The students enjoyed the cultural dances, songs, cuisines, languages of varied states of India.

The students were given insights about various brands & products of Coca Cola and various marketing strategies used to increase brand awareness & enhance brand image. The students were also briefed about the whole process of production along with the initiatives done by the organization for fulfilling their Corporate Social Responsibility.
To strengthen our Industry Connect and give exposure to our students, a visit to the manufacturing plant at Pepsi was undertaken. The visit centered around quality control and distribution strategy at their manufacturing hub in Greater Noida, U.P. The visit was conducted in 2 slots by:
1. PGDM (Supply Chain, Human Resource, Business Analytics) students on 20th November - To enlighten the students with facility management techniques and usage of predictive analytics in quality checks and error handling
2. BBA students on 22nd November - To endow the budding managers with early exposure to industry relevant concepts and techniques
