Book Donation Drive

The CSR Club of Lloyd Group of Institutions organized a book donation drive in association with Ummeed Sanstha and Drop by Drop Foundation NGO on 9 th July 2022 at Lloyd Campus. The idea behind this Book Donation Drive was to provide the students with the books who cannot afford them. The guest invited for the day were Dr. Devendra Kr. Nagar founder and Convener of Ummeed Ashaya Jan Sewa Trust and Shweta Aggarwal founder and Convener of Drop by Drop Foundation.

The program started with a welcome note of the guests by Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions. The guests were welcomed with a planter by Prof. (Dr.) Shilpi Sarna, HoD, BBA Department. The program started by insightful words by Dr.Devendra Kr Nagar on what is really important for an individual – his/her capabilities in order to achieve the goals. Only when a person is healthy, he can take care of other people around them.

After that esteemed guest Ms. Shweta Aggarwal addressed the gathering on what qualities are required by an individual to move forward in life – First is the intention which we carry and second is the goal in order to achieve success.

The formal vote of thanks was proposed by Dr.Ruchi Garg, Head CSR Club. The esteemed guests were felicitated with a Memento, as a token of gratitude by Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions and Dr. Alka Jyoti, Director MBA.
