Objective:

The objective of the conducting this activity is to impart the sense of caring, love and gratitude towards the elderly citizens who live in old age homes.

Detailed Report:

“Kartavayam” – “Laughter is timeless, Imagination has no age, and dreams are forever.” To contribute our love and care, the volunteers of CSR Club of Lloyd Group of Institutions has visited “Aangan – Old Age Home” to meet and greet elderly people on 16 th October 2022. The members of the CSR club volunteer selflessly under the guidance of faculty in-charge Dr. Ruchi Garg to seek blessings from elderly people. The activities started by knowing them followed by greeting them with cards, singing together, a little bit of dancing, and ending it with a cheerful cake cutting. The volunteers experienced how much happy and enthusiastic they were when they saw the team. Moral - that we should never give up when hoping for something to happen even if the chances are zero. One of the elderly men told us there that “you should always take care of all the senior citizens and be kind & supportive towards them”. So this is how student volunteers learned from these happy souls that how to stay young at heart.
