Orientation Day “Aarambh” was organized for Lloyd Group of Institutions, Greater Noida on 17^th September 2022, Saturday to accost the Management Program for MBA, BBA and Bcom

As part of the Orientation and Induction Program, themed “Aarambh”, which symbolizes the start of a new journey set forth the rigor for the inauguration of fresh Batch of Management. for the academic Year 2022 for illustrious courses namely MBA, BBA and B-Com programmes at Lloyd Group of Institutions .

The session, conceptualized under the leadership of Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, witnessed the presence of corporate stalwarts like Mr. Abhinav Jain ,Founder and CEO Atechnos was the Guest of Honor for the day.

Mr. Arpan Gupta , Additional Director & Head - Mines, Metals, Cement, Power Coal & Renewable Energy was the Key note speaker for the day who through his speech addressed the importance of VUCA world and the challenges that students need to be prepared for in the volatile , uncertain , competitive and ambiguous time.

The day witnessed an informative panel discussion on the theme “Expert Speakers Session” from diverse industries and domains of business like Fintech, Technology, Energy and other Industries.

There was a panel discussion organized for the students about the changing dynamics of skills in the VUCA world themed “Building Skills in the VUCA world”. The panellists for the day were Mr. Rajat Garg , Trusted Advisor , Oracle, Mr. Abhimanyu, Founder and CEO Value Prospects, Mr. Abhishek Sengar, Human Resource Lead, Manitou Group,  Mr Rohit Talwar Commercial Excellence Leader, GE and Mr Puneet Sharma, F&A Tools and Technologies, TCS. They discussed the skills that students require like multi-skilling, values, integrity , confidence, stability and “just do it” spirit to face the turbulent times.

The students were tremendously benefitted by the insights, experiences and wisdom of the corporateS who discussed the enabling skills required by Managers in today’s times. In their motivating addresses, the experts inspired the students to dream big and have confidence in their dreams. They also suggested the way forward for the students to be able to excel in their areas of expertise.

The day extended with a Faculty Award ceremony, where the Management faculty at Lloyd were elicited with awards that contributed to zeal and motivation for the Faculty and recognising their great efforts some of the Categories were Best Faculty Drivers, Rising Start performers etc .

The day ended with a collaborative lunch where the new joining batch interacted with their Faculty mentors over lunch.
