The objective of the session was to help students understand the concept of change management and its importance in organizational success. The session aimed to build awareness of how organizations plan, implement, and sustain change effectively. Another objective was to introduce participants to leadership and communication strategies that support successful change initiatives.
The institution organized an expert session on “Change Management,” delivered by Mr. Abhinav Jain, Founder and CEO, who shared his professional experiences and insights on managing change in dynamic business environments.
Mr. Jain explained that change is an inevitable part of organizational life, driven by technological innovation, competition, globalization, and changing customer expectations. He emphasized that successful change management requires a clear vision, strong leadership, transparent communication, and active employee involvement.
He discussed the key stages of change management, including recognizing the need for change, planning and communicating the change, implementing new initiatives, and reinforcing new behaviors within the organization. He also highlighted the importance of addressing resistance, managing uncertainty, and building trust through empathy and open communication. Mr. Jain shared examples of organizational transformations to illustrate how effective leaders guide teams through change by being adaptable, supportive, and proactive. The session concluded with an interactive discussion on leadership challenges, organizational culture, and how students can prepare themselves for change-driven professional environments.
Participants gained an understanding of change management principles and their relevance in modern organizations. They learned about leadership roles, communication strategies, and employee engagement in managing change. The session enhanced their readiness to adapt to change and lead transformation initiatives effectively.
