Lloyd Business School hosted its 3rd day of the Orientation Program through Panel Discussion among Industry in collaboration with the PHD Chamber of Commerce on 27th July 2023, so that students could interact with the Industry mentors and learn from them through a panel discussion on the ways in which Industry 5.0 is changing its paradigms for management students.
The day started with the Visionary mind of Dr Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions who stressed the importance of the Industry’s role in building academia for the next league of student enablement at Lloyd.
The intention of the panel discussion was to orient students to induct new employees into an organization and acclimatize them to company culture, job roles, business goals, etc about what the future has in store.
The panel discussion with Industry included two sessions on the topics related to technology in Industry 5.0 and the changing strategies for handling the strategic evolution in this era.
The Guest of Honor for the day was Prof (Dr) Amar Sapra, Chair of Excellence, and Professor Management Program Director e-GMP IIM Bangalore. The Keynote speech was addressed by Mr Amulya Sah CHRA, Team Computers.

The session addressed the features of Industry 5.0 which is is a human-centric industry which puts human needs and interests at the center of the production process. Instead of asking what workers can do with new technology, Industry 5.0 asks what the technology can do for workers. While robots are tireless and precise, they’re literal and lack the capacity for critical and creative thought of their human partners.
The day was celebrated by all through rich thoughts and ideas as a takeaway.
