OBJECTIVE:

Detailed Report: Greater Noida, 7th March, 2024 – Lloyd Business School organized a grand event on the occasion of International Women’s Day. This event was a remarkable one in the true spirit. Eminent guests like Ms. Preeti Yadav (ADCP Women Security and Traffic, Gautam Buddha Nagar), Ms. Disha Agarwal (Founder, Creative Ally), Ms. Sumati Randeo (Director, Danaher Corporations), Ms. Bhuvaneshwari Pathak (AOR, Supreme Court of India) and Ms. Shiwangi Peswani (Actor and Influencer) were invited.

After the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi (CSO and Group Director, Lloyd Business School) addressed the audience. She initiated the speech by quoting Gulzar’s words describing how women have been treated in the past and what all they have gone through. She also quoted example of Ms. Indra Nooyi emphasizing on the fact that women have an inherent bug of perfectionism in performing all the tasks. She faces duality in choosing whether to be strong or humble in all roles. Also, she talked about believing in your capabilities, not considering women being a weaker gender, thereby appreciating the men in our lives who create the ecosystem where women can work.

The guests were welcomed and felicitated. Ms. Preeti Yadav (ADCP Women Security and Traffic, Gautam Buddha Nagar), then addressed the audience and focused on investing in women not just in one’s family but also outside our families, thereby aiding the growth of our country. She was presented “FireBrand of the Year Award” by Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi. Ms. Sumati Randeo (Director, Danaher Corporations) was presented “Crusader of the Year Award”.

The event also witnessed an insightful panel discussion among the esteemed guests. They ideated on women doing something what they really like, not just because they are expected to do something. Also, that women should take chances so that they don’t have any regrets.

Thereafter, there were activities for the female participants which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Students of PGDM Tamanna Bartwal and Vivek Kumar Mishra presented a dance and song respectively. Femme Fiesta souvenirs were distributed to women of Lloyd. Lloyd Business School wishes all women a very happy women’s day.
