Objectives:

The main objectives of Diksharambh 2.0 were to formally welcome the incoming PGDM batch of 2024–26 and to orient them toward the academic culture and expectations of Lloyd Business School. The event aimed to help students understand the structure of the PGDM programme, the values of the institution, and the support systems available to them throughout their journey. Another key objective was to provide early industry exposure by inviting Mr. Vivek Jain, Chief Business Officer at Shiksha.com/Naukri Fastforward, to address the students on the topic of “Effective Leadership in the World of Business.” Through this, the institution sought to inspire students to adopt a leadership mindset, develop a professional outlook, and begin their management journey with clarity, confidence, and motivation.

Diksharambh 2.0, the official orientation ceremony for the PGDM batch of 2024–26, was held on August 10th, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Lloyd Business School. The event commenced with a warm welcome from the faculty, program coordinators, and administrative team, who introduced students to the culture, mission, and academic vision of the institution. The new students were briefed on the curriculum structure, specialization opportunities, institutional policies, and the various learning resources that would support their academic growth throughout the programme.

The highlight of the ceremony was the keynote session delivered by Mr. Vivek Jain, Chief Business Officer at Shiksha.com and Naukri Fastforward. His session on “Effective Leadership in the World of Business” provided deep insights into the evolving expectations of the corporate world. Mr. Jain discussed how leadership today is influenced by technological advancements, digital transformation, and global competition.
