The primary objective of this session was to familiarize students with the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern leadership roles. Organized under the Campus to Corporate Series, the session aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practices by helping PGDM students understand how AI is transforming decision-making, team management, and organizational strategy. Another important objective was to equip students with insights on the future of leadership, enabling them to adapt to technological advancements and lead effectively in an AI-driven corporate landscape.
Lloyd Business School hosted an exclusive session titled “Evolution of AI in Leadership” as part of its ongoing Campus to Corporate Series, an initiative designed to enhance industry readiness among management students. The session was conducted especially for the PGDM Batch 2024–26 and delivered by Mr. Abhishek Misra, Senior Manager – Infrastructure Services, Cloud & Datacenter Expert, and a distinguished alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad.
The session began with Mr. Misra explaining the rising integration of AI across industries and how it is reshaping leadership at every level. He discussed how AI-powered tools assist leaders in making more accurate and data-driven decisions. Through practical examples, he highlighted how modern leaders rely on predictive analytics, automation, and intelligent systems to improve operational efficiency and team performance.
Mr. Misra also explored the shift in leadership competencies brought about by AI. He explained that while AI enhances efficiency, the human leadership qualities of emotional intelligence, ethical judgment, and critical thinking remain irreplaceable. The discussion shed light on how leaders must adapt by embracing technology while still maintaining a people-centered approach.
Students were introduced to various AI applications such as machine learning dashboards, workflow automation tools, and decision-support systems that are increasingly shaping business management. The interactive session allowed students to inquire about real-world challenges, future trends, and skills required to lead effectively in an AI-driven environment. The speaker emphasized the importance of continuous learning, digital awareness, and adaptability for future managers.
Students gained a comprehensive understanding of how AI is transforming leadership and organizational functioning. They learned about the relevance of data-driven decision-making and how AI tools can enhance productivity and precision. The session helped them appreciate the importance of balancing technological competence with human leadership qualities. Students also realized the need to develop skills in analytics, technological literacy, ethical reasoning, and innovation to stay relevant in evolving corporate environments. Overall, the session strengthened their readiness for future workplaces influenced by rapid digital transformation.
