Detailed Report

The Finance Club of Lloyd Business School organized an insightful Financial Literacy Workshop on 14 August 2024, under the guidance of Faculty Coordinators Mr. Sachin Sinha and Dr. Puja Agrawal. The workshop focused on strengthening students' understanding of essential financial principles and promoting practical money management skills.

The session began at 11:00 AM, with the speakers introducing the importance of financial literacy in today's dynamic economic environment. Students were briefed on key components of personal finance, including budgeting techniques, saving habits, investment opportunities, credit and debt management, and long-term financial planning.

Interactive discussions and real-life examples helped students relate financial concepts to everyday decision-making. The speakers also emphasized the significance of early financial planning and shared best practices for managing money effectively during student life and early career stages.

Participants from the PGDM (2024–2026) batch showed active involvement throughout the session. Their queries related to mutual funds, digital finance tools, credit scores, and risk management were addressed comprehensively by the facilitators.

The workshop proved highly beneficial in enhancing financial awareness and empowering students with skills that are crucial in both personal and professional contexts. Faculty Coordinators Mr. Sachin Sinha and Dr. Puja Agrawal appreciated the engagement level of the participants and encouraged them to apply the learned concepts in their daily financial practices.
