The primary objective of this session was to educate students and industry participants on the importance of sustainable and greener HR practices in modern organizations. Conducted as part of HR Conclave 7.0, the session aimed to highlight how environmentally conscious HR strategies contribute to long-term organizational resilience, employee well-being, and responsible business growth. Another objective was to inspire future HR professionals by sharing practical insights from an experienced industry expert and Lloyd Business School alumna.
Lloyd Business School was honored to welcome Ms. Prachi Chauhan, Deputy Manager – HR of Business & esteemed Lloyd Alumni, as a distinguished speaker at HR Conclave 7.0. Her session focused on the theme of greener HR activities and the importance of building a resilient workforce in today’s rapidly evolving corporate environment.
Ms. Prachi began by explaining the concept of Green HR—an approach that integrates environmental sustainability into human resource management. She emphasized how organizations are increasingly adopting eco-friendly HR practices such as paperless onboarding, digital documentation, energy-efficient workplaces, employee environmental awareness programs, and sustainable work policies. These initiatives not only reduce environmental impact but also promote a culture of responsibility, innovation, and accountability among employees.
Further, Ms. Prachi discussed the importance of resilience in the workforce, especially in a post-pandemic world marked by uncertainty, digital transformation, and shifting work models. She highlighted strategies such as continuous learning, mental well-being support, flexible work arrangements, and leadership-driven development initiatives that help employees adapt and thrive in changing environments. Drawing from her professional experience, she shared real-life examples of how resilient teams contribute to organizational stability and long-term success.
The session was interactive and insightful, with students actively engaging in discussions about the role of HR in driving sustainability and building stronger, future-ready teams. As an alumna, Ms. Prachi also encouraged students to develop a growth mindset, remain open to learning, and embrace innovation in HR practices.
