The primary objective of organizing the Expert Talk on Learning & Development for PGDM students was to enhance their understanding of the strategic role that Learning and Development (L&D) plays in shaping employee growth and organizational excellence. The session aimed to expose students to real-world HR practices, with specific focus on how structured L&D initiatives contribute to skill enhancement, employee engagement, leadership development, and long-term business success. By inviting Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, an accomplished HR professional with over two decades of industry experience, the objective was to provide students with industry-driven insights and prepare them to apply L&D principles effectively in their future managerial roles.
The Expert Talk was conducted on 26 November 2024 at 3:00 pm, featuring Dr. Rajiv Tyagi, Associate Business HR Director at Mace Group, Gurgaon, and Corporate Mentor at Lloyd Business School. Dr. Tyagi began the session by highlighting the evolving significance of Learning and Development in the modern corporate environment, emphasizing that continuous learning is no longer optional but a necessity for both employees and organizations.
