The Corporate Mentorship Session marked the official launch of an intensive 8-week Corporate Mentorship Initiative aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry. The program is designed to provide students with direct access to experienced corporate leaders who will guide them through meaningful interactions, career mentoring, industry exposure, and professional development. Through this initiative, students will gain valuable insights into current industry practices, develop essential workplace competencies, and build the confidence required to excel in their professional careers.
The Corporate Mentorship Session was successfully organized in online mode on June 20, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, under the coordination of Ms. Neha Issar. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 132 students, who joined to begin their mentorship journey with distinguished professionals from diverse industries.
The event commenced with a welcome address highlighting the importance of mentorship in shaping students' career aspirations and preparing them for the dynamic corporate environment. Students were introduced to the structure, objectives, and expectations of the eight-week mentorship program, which focuses on personalized guidance, industry exposure, skill enhancement, and career planning.
A panel of eminent industry experts from leading organizations was introduced as mentors for the program. The mentors represented diverse domains, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Legal Services, Banking, Sustainability, and Talent Acquisition. During the session, the mentors shared their professional journeys, emphasized the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, leadership, communication skills, and ethical professional practices, and encouraged students to make the most of the mentoring opportunities available to them.
