Dr. Ajeeta Srivastava is a development economist with entrepreneurship
being her field of research and expertise. She completed her Economics
Honors from the prestigious Delhi University, thereon did her Master’s
in Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi. She completed her
Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, and worked on women entrepreneurship.
She has contributed significantly to academics by way of teaching at
Bennett University (Times Group) and TERI University respectively, and
through several articles and conference presentations, as well as,
through real life grass root level work in the field. She has several
book chapters and research papers to her credit that focus on gender
economics and entrepreneurship. She has also been very active in the
edtech-scenario in India having worked with NGOs, consultancies and
corporates in the field of education. She has been closely associated
with organisations like Steel Authority of India, Nuclear Power
Corporation of India Ltd., Consortium of Women Entrepreneurs in India,
etc. in various roles exploring their gender-targeted welfare
initiatives as she has great interest in gender economics and
development through entrepreneurship. Currently, she is working as an
Associate Professor at Lloyd Business School and is responsible for PGDM
(Entrepreneurship).
