Objectives:

The IPR Awareness Programme was organized with the following objectives:

  • To create awareness about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) among students and academicians.
  • To educate participants on the importance of patents, trademarks, designs, and copyrights.
  • To promote innovation, creativity, and protection of intellectual assets.
  • To familiarize participants with IPR laws and filing procedures in India.
  • To support the vision of Creative India and Innovative India under NIPAM.
  • To encourage responsible use and protection of intellectual property.

Day 1: Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights

The first day of the programme focused on providing a comprehensive introduction to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The session explained the concept, need, and scope of intellectual property in today’s knowledge-driven economy.
