From March 21 to March 23, 2024, Lloyd Business School hosted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) focused on innovating teaching methodologies through simulations. The event convened 19 faculty members eager to explore and integrate advanced simulation techniques into their pedagogical practices. The primary objective of the FDP was to revolutionize learning experiences through interactive simulations, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional teaching methods and contemporary industry demands. Facilitated by industry experts, Mr. Vijay Singh Bisht and Dr. Richa Agarwal, the program aimed to equip educators with practical skills directly relevant to today’s professional landscape.
Mr. Vijay Singh Bisht, renowned for his role at Wheebox and AIMA, brought extensive expertise in conducting Chanakya Business Simulation workshops for top-tier corporations and leading B-schools. With her background at AURO University and proficiency in curriculum development, Dr. Richa Agarwal spearheaded hands-on workshops nationwide, enhancing participants' grasp of E-Learning methodologies and cutting-edge teaching strategies. Throughout the FDP, participants engaged in a structured agenda to maximize their learning outcomes. Beginning with an exploration of simulation’s role in modern education, the program progressed to practical workshops tailored to diverse disciplines. These sessions culminated in strategic discussions on integrating simulations into curriculum design and assessment, preparing educators for future challenges in educational technology.
