The objective of the 5 Days Management Development Program, conducted in association with IBM, was to enhance managerial and analytical competencies of participants by providing practical exposure to industry-relevant business analytics tools. The program aimed to:
The five-day Management Development Program was conducted in an online mode with a strong focus on practical learning, tool-based demonstrations, and managerial applications of business analytics.
The first day focused on introducing participants to the concept of business analytics and its growing importance in managerial decision-making. Participants were familiarized with the IBM Business Analytics ecosystem and its relevance across industries. The session emphasized the role of data, analytics, and visualization in improving business performance.
On the second day, participants were introduced to data visualization techniques using Power BI. The session covered dashboard creation, report building, and interpretation of visual insights. Practical demonstrations helped participants understand how data visualization supports strategic and operational decisions.
The third day focused on IBM Cognos Analytics. Participants learned how Cognos is used for enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and performance management. The session demonstrated how organizations leverage Cognos for interactive reporting and analytical insights.
The fourth day introduced participants to predictive analytics concepts using IBM SPSS Modeler. The session covered model building, data mining techniques, and predictive analysis for business applications. Real-world examples were discussed to illustrate how predictive models support forecasting and risk assessment.
The final day focused on artificial intelligence and cognitive analytics using IBM Watson. Participants were introduced to AI-driven analytics and its applications in business decision-making. The program concluded with a consolidation of key learnings, interactive discussions, and guidance on career opportunities in business analytics.
