Objectives:

The objective of the Faculty Development Program was to enhance the knowledge and skills of faculty members in the field of data analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence through hands-on learning and exposure to modern analytical tools.

Detailed Report:

Day 1 – Introduction to Data Analytics & Basic Statistics

The first day focused on the fundamentals of data analytics and basic statistical concepts using Microsoft Excel. Participants gained practical exposure to data interpretation and analysis.

Day 2 – Machine Learning Concepts

The second day introduced machine learning concepts using Orange and Python. Faculty members learned supervised and unsupervised learning techniques with real-life examples.

Day 3 – Data Visualization using Power BI

The third day emphasized data visualization and dashboard creation using Power BI. Participants learned to transform raw data into meaningful insights.

Day 4 – Deep Learning & Generative AI

The fourth day covered deep learning concepts and generative AI using Python, including neural networks and AI applications.

Day 5 – Advanced AI Tools & IBM Software

The final day focused on advanced AI tools such as MTree, Generative AI, and IBM software solutions relevant to industry and academia.

Learning Outcomes:

Participants gained understanding of statistical concepts, machine learning techniques, dashboard creation using Power BI, exposure to deep learning and generative AI, and familiarity with IBM AI tools.
