As part of its sustained commitment to experiential learning, social responsibility, and nation-building, the CSR Club of Lloyd Business School successfully executed a six-month student-led live project under the AI Pragya – 1 Million to 1 Billion initiative, a flagship digital empowerment program supported by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The project was implemented with the objective of strengthening digital awareness and artificial intelligence literacy among learners, thereby contributing to employability and skill development at the grassroots level.
The initiative was carried out by a committed team of students—Bhawna, Rashi, Shashank, Rachit, Saurabh, Akshara, Shalu, and Palak—who worked collaboratively and consistently over a period of six months. The team functioned under the mentorship of senior guides Vajeeha and Praveen, with academic supervision and strategic direction provided by Dr. Neetu Kamra, Faculty Coordinator of the CSR Club. Their continuous guidance played a crucial role in aligning student efforts with the objectives of the project and ensuring effective execution.
The project was closely aligned with the Mahakumbh Rozgar Yojana, a large-scale employment and skill-development drive of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. While a major Rozgar Mahakumbh was organized in August 2025 in Lucknow, the initiative continued through district-level employment and skilling activities during early 2026. The student team contributed meaningfully by enhancing the AI and digital readiness of job seekers, thereby supporting broader employment and workforce development goals.
As part of implementation, students actively contacted registered participants and sensitized them about the benefits of the program. Free Artificial Intelligence training sessions were conducted twice a week, every Wednesday and Saturday, with each session lasting two hours. The curriculum covered key foundational and applied concepts of Artificial Intelligence and was delivered using a simplified, learner-centric approach to ensure clarity, accessibility, and effective understanding for participants from diverse backgrounds.
By the conclusion of the final session in February 2026, the project successfully trained over 5,000 new learners and facilitated the issuance of more than 1,000 certifications, including AI Pragya and 1 Million to 1 Billion (1M1B) certifications. The initiative received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, who reported improved understanding of AI concepts, appreciation for the teaching methodology adopted by the student trainers, and a strong demand for study materials and continued learning support.
Through the real-time execution of this large-scale CSR initiative, students developed and demonstrated strong teamwork, leadership, teaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills. They also displayed resilience, adaptability, and determination while addressing operational challenges and ensuring consistent learner engagement. Overall, the project stands as a testament to the capability, commitment, and social consciousness of Lloyd Business School students, reflecting the institution’s emphasis on experiential learning, leadership development, and meaningful societal contribution while preparing students to become responsible and industry-ready professionals.
