On the occasion of International Literacy Day (8 September 2025), the CSR Club of Lloyd Business School, Greater Noida organized a community outreach visit to Vikas Vishranti Charitable Trust as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and inclusive education.
The initiative aimed to understand the trust’s role in improving the lives of underprivileged children while spreading awareness about the importance of education, discipline, moral values, and emotional support in a child’s holistic development.
CSR Club members actively interacted with the children through storytelling, learning sessions, motivational talks, and skill-building activities designed to enhance confidence, communication, and critical thinking.
To encourage participation and learning through fun, the children were divided into groups and engaged in interactive games such as Passing the Ball and Finding Words through Images, which promoted teamwork, focus, vocabulary development, and observation skills. A donation drive was also conducted during the visit, where books and stationery were distributed to support the children’s educational needs.The visit provided students with meaningful exposure to grassroots social work and highlighted the impact of education and guidance in preventing juvenile delinquency and nurturing positive behaviour. The activity strengthened students’ sense of empathy, responsibility, and commitment toward child welfare and community development.
Overall, the International Literacy Day initiative served as a valuable learning experience that reinforced the belief that education, care, and small acts of kindness can bring lasting positive change in society. The CSR Club continues to work towards creating awareness and contributing actively to social development initiatives.
