OBJECTIVE: To expose the students to the exciting journey of a young entrepreneur

Lloyd Business School in association with TERI School of Advanced Studies (Deemed University) organized an interactive expert talk session on 21^st August 2023 on the occasion of World Entrepreneurs’ Day. The session held on Campus 1, Lloyd Business School, was based on the theme ‘Dare to Dream.’

The guest speaker on this occasion was Mr. Deepak Behl, Founder & CEO, Astra Protection Group and Astra Training Academy. He was accompanied by Mr. Surinder Singh, Manager - HR & Operations at Astra Protection Group.

The session started with welcoming the eminent guests with planters and their introduction by a student representative. Mr. Behl then took charge of the session and introduced himself as a budding entrepreneur to the audience. He then shared his unusual journey of becoming an entrepreneur with the students. His story was much relatable for the students because he shared how he had this vision regarding his own venture since his student days and how even the challenge of quitting a reputed government job did not hinder him.

The session was extremely engaging for the students and very interactive as Mr. Behl patiently took time and made efforts to answer each and every question raised by the audience. In a gathering that was in reality the target group for Honorable PM Narendra Modi’s futuristic vision for developing entrepreneurship in the nation, Mr.Behl’s insightful session along with his lively and inspirational story inspired the students to dare to dream.  

Toward the end, Prof. S.C. Kapoor shared invaluable insights on his observations from the session. This expert talk session ended with the eminent guests being felicitated with mementos by Lloyd Business School. Present on the occasion were Dr. Shivani Kapoor (Director, LIMT), Prof. S.C. Kapoor, Dr. Krity Gulati (Head-Academics), Dr. Ajeeta Srivastava and Mr. Sachin Sinha.
