To get students aware of the practical use of tools in current business scenarios.
An insightful and informative session on ‘Sectoral
Analytics’ was conducted by Mr. Aman Bakshi, SME, IBM attended by
the management students on 9th and 11 th Nov’2022. The workshop
commenced by explaining students about the essence of marketing and
its types- traditional and advanced. Students got practical knowledge of
creating dashboard using ‘pivot table’ in advanced excel. During the
workshop, students got their hands on ‘Cognos’ a very efficient tool by
IBM, and created dashboards. With this we came to the end of our first
day of workshop.
At the day two of workshop students got practical knowledge of ‘Wrike’ which makes it easy for every team to find effective and efficient ways by working as one. Through the help of workshop, students completed a certification course on ‘sectoral analytics advanced marketing’ issued by IBM. Students got aware of the strategies which help businesses build customer relationships by taking a deep dive into all aspects of their marketing and the importance of key performing indicators. The workshop ended by giving vote of thanks and felicitating eminent resource person along with organizing committee. In conclusion, it is important to be updated and challenge yourself all the time. When you believe in something it will happen.
Students got practical knowledge of Advanced Excel, IBM-Cognos & Wrike. Learnt about the importance of marketing and its various kinds.
