OBJECTIVE: To provide students with a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience of making Chatbots using IBM Watson Assistant and Descriptive analytics techniques using Microsoft PowerBI.

Detailed Report:

On 2023-10-10, Lloyd Business School, Greater Noida organized a workshop on Chatbot and PowerBI. The session was conducted in a classroom where students of PGDM course learned about making Chatbot using Watson Assistant and Descriptive analytics techniques using PowerBI.

The session started with a brief introduction of the topic by Dr.Neetu Kamra, Head Centre of Data Analytics and AI Initiatives.

Started with the theoretical part of article, where the importance of sustainability mentioned. Later, she started teaching about Chatbots as the solution of sustainability. The workshop was divided into two parts:

Chatbot using Watson Assistant: In this part of the workshop, students learned about the basics of Chatbot and how to create a Chatbot using Watson Assistant.

The workshop covered the following topics:

• Introduction to Chatbot
• What is Watson Assistant?
• How to create a Chatbot using Watson Assistant

Descriptive analytics techniques using PowerBI: In this part of the workshop, students learned about the basics of Descriptive analytics and how to use PowerBI to create different types of graphs and charts. The workshop covered the following topics: Introduction to Descriptive analytics

What is PowerBI?

How to create different types of graphs and charts using PowerBI understanding the pie and doughnut chart formating.

At the end, she answered all the questions that students had and the session ended with a thank you note from DR Neetu Kamra. Overall, the session was fruitful and students gained an overall understanding of building a Chatbot and Dashborad.

Learning Outcomes:

After the completion of the workshop, students were able to:

• Understand the basics of Chatbot and how to create a Chatbot using Watson Assistant.
• Understand the basics of Descriptive analytics and how to use PowerBI to create different types of graphs and charts.
• Able to understand the insert the buttons in PowerBI while analyzing the HR dataset.
