The new beginning for the Management Program, 2021 (post graduate and graduates students) embarking a new journey for the career and inspirational growth of students for a new perspective of knowledge and life skills enhancement initiated at Lloyd on 18th September 2021, Saturday through the Management Induction Program titled :“Aarambh”.
The Induction program tried to introduce the students into a new world of professional, management and technically educative courses of MBA and BBA. The induction program was organized in the state of the art seminar hall at Lloyd Campus; all the new students were felicitated and welcomed by the faculties.
This Management Induction was even more special as the physical abode of the students initiated with this day, after a long period of virtual connects due to the pandemic. The enthusiasm and the spirit of the students could be reflective in their happiness and vibrancy to join physical learning space in the expansive, enthralling and beautiful college campus at Lloyd witnessed during the day of the induction program.
The session was inaugurated by invoking God’s blessings with Sarawati Vandana . The students were welcomed by the President, Lloyd Group of Institutions, Mr. Manohar Thairani and Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions Dr Vandana Arora Sethi. They congratulated the students for their foray in to a new professional journey of expertise and opportunities through Lloyd Group. The President, Mr. Manohar Thairani expressed that Lloyd as a Group aspired to up-skill and re-skill students with emerging technologies so that students can explore diversity in job opportunities which was the most prominent aspects of education at Lloyd.
Dr Vandana Sethi, Group Director at Lloyd welcomed the students whole heartedly and assured for a knowledge intensive journey of rediscovery of students through commitment, hard work and dedication. She introduced the theme of the Induction program "Management of Technology (MOT)".
The Guest of Honor for the Day was Mr. Hemant Srivastava, Founder and CEO of Sociocharge , an alumnus from IIT Kharagpur. His entrepreneurial expertise and encouragement opened vistas to Management program not just as a ‘job seeker’ but ‘job evolver’. He truly inspired the students with his words of encouragement.
The induction program was chaired by yet another very renowned personality Mr. Sanjay Singh, MD, Yamaha Motors Solutions Ltd. His motivating speech on the changing paradigms of the Management program and its opening new and dynamic structural technology innovations in productions was a delight for the students.
Mr. Manish Upadhyay, Associate Director-HR KPMG was the Guest of Honor for the Day. His addresal to the students was on illuminating the students with the dynamics of people management skills and the essence of social wellness among corporate for generating a culture of performance.
When new students enter an institution, they come with diverse thoughts, backgrounds and preparations. It is important to help them adjust to the new environment and inculcate in them the ethos of the institution with a sense of larger purpose. Thus, purpose of this comprehensive induction programme is to go beyond familiarizing students with the campus and other fellow students and help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with faculties, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose of self exploration.
As doctrined by Management gurus, discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments. We, at Lloyd Institute, are committed so that we can provide the students with this bridge which adjoins the two virtues and puts forth a bunch of young, talented, and futuristic professionals in the making. Today, to commemorate the accomplishments of these few meritorious students who have made it to the top league of industry advent through their consistent efforts and result-oriented approach, we hereby dedicate and felicitate the alumni from our Engineering and Management School . Satandar has persuaded his B.tech in Computer Science from Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology and has landed him self in one of the finest US based MNC ITBD. Jasmine Singh is a graduate of B.tech from Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology and the course made her ready for a dynamic and long term career in Ericsson Ltd. Naveen Singh graduated from Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology and made him secure a job at CRMNEXT. Kumar Manish Ranjan is an PGDM student in Business Analytics from Lloyd Business School and made him self secure a placement opportunity in Cashify. Tanmay received a post graduate degree in MBA and he is working in Airtel. Saurabh Singh Gaur post graduate in MBA and secure a position at India's top service providing company - Airtel. Atul Kumar persuaded MBA and placed in a Manager position in Property Pistol. Priyanka student of post graduate in MBA and her commitment able to fetch her a leadership goal at Planet Spark.These students have made the entire Lloyd Group proud of with their hardwork and commitment. let the wave of inspiration pass through the upcoming management graduates and we wish them with even more triumphant success.Keeping the above spirit of holistic inculcation of students to the organizational ethos, culture and people connect there were special sessions like Faculty introduction session, Club activities at Lloyd, and other extracurricular initiatives for student’s growth which they would be soon a part of.
The students celebrated the day with the Management Games organized for them by Ms Priyanka Ganguly, a specialized Corporate Trainer and Senior VP at Spectrum Metro. The students learnt through these management games the art of team building, time management and fun while at work.
All through the day students were occupied through innovative sessions and mind boggling activities. Over all the induction session was able to address the student’s emotions ad sentiments while stepping the new arena of Management world.
