“Management of Technology (MOT) A Golden Gateway of Future”
Lloyd Business School, Greater Noida announced the Online Orientation and Induction Program for PGDM (XIIbatch) themed “Management of Technology (MOT) A Golden Gateway of Future”. The session embarks a new journey for PGDM BATCH for 2021-23. The orientation program commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, said that 5 C’S are important to be a good manager. The session started with motivational and visionary introduction of Lloyd Group of Institutions by the Group Director. She abridged the students with the opportunities, challenges and career growth ladder at Lloyd by envisioning the scope of varied initiatives taken by the Lloyd Group in the last few years which could empower students’ academic career. She also, introduced the Co-Op program which is a novel and flagship program initiated at Lloyd synthesized into Management Education. An innovative approach to education that integrates professional industry experience into the academic curriculum’s-op (Cooperative Education) is a program that balances classroom theory with periods of practical, hands-on experience prior to graduation.It’s gives students the real- world, program-related work experience while pursuing your education. It’s an amazing way to explore careers, gain relevant experience, and make money while still earning your bachelor’s degree. Group Director also introduced the Global Academic Collaborations of Lloyd Group of Institutions with Global companies like IBM, Cisco,Oracle, Microsoft and Amazon. The session inspired students to avail opportunities from Industries offered by Lloyd platform.
The one-day online orientation &Induction program was a thoughtfully designed with motivational talk series aimed to enlighten a new beginning for students in management education instilling ‘passion for learning’. The esteemed Speakers for the Induction session were Mr. Anil Bhasin, Ex-President Havelles, FMEG Expert and Motivational Speaker and Mr Sunil Kichloo, Senior Vice President, LKP Securities Pvt Ltd. They instilled in students the spirit of hard work, knowledge and dedication for upskilling skills to face corporate challenges.
Next the session was oriented to acclimatise students with Life at Lloyd, Research at Lloyd,and Clubs for Extra-Curricular activities at Lloyd, Placements at Lloyd and Academics.
These sessions were conducted to acquaint the new students at Lloyd Business School in an informed and organised approach.
All together the session was successful as immense enthusiasm and interest was showed by students setting the stepping stones for the foundation building in their life changing and career building course: Management which they would be soon be starting with.
